First games start at 8:45 Last Games will start before 5:00 on Saturday and before 4:00 on Sunday.  

CHECK-IN  - At the field.  Teams check-in 1 hour before their first game

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams must enter as COMP or REC based on the definition in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site

Qualifying for Nationals at Disney -  The top 4 teams in each Age-Comp/Rec category will qualify for Nationals.

Teams are only ranked for qualifying against teams of the same age and comp/rec level.  

Where 1, 2, or 3 teams are placed with older teams, they will be ranked 1,2,3 in their own age for purposes of qualifying

Schedules will be posted here Thursday before 10PM.

To allow celebration of Fathers Day, we plan to schedule the latest games on Sunday in the early afternoon

Welcome to the Orlando 3v3 Challenge, June 16/17, 2007 in Apopka, Florida!

We are looking forward to a great tournament.  We want to make sure every team that has entered knows exactly what they need to do to be ready to have a great experience.  Here are some important points for you to be aware of : 

<> EARLY ENTRY DEADLINE - June 8 - After  June 8 entry fee will be $175.

<> CHECK-IN is Saturday morning -  where you will receive t-shirts for each player on the team.  At least one member from each team must attend check-in! 

1)  WAIVER FORM  - If you applied online, you MUST bring a WAIVER with player/parent signatures.  You have a choice of  WAIVER FORM or printable application  which has the waiver on it.

2)  PROOF OF AGE

Make sure to bring PROOF OF AGE for each player to team check-in. (such as player passes,  copy of birth certificate, drivers license, etc.).  Click here  for age division table

3)  APPLICATION -  If you  need  to change your roster from the one that was submitted on your application  OR     If your original application was not filled out entirely (with all players addresses and birthdates) you must bring a final application to check-in.  You can find a printable version at printable application.

4) HOTEL FORM -  if you are staying at a hotel, please fill out and turn in.

<>  SCHEDULES At least the first game for each team - will be posted on the Challenge Sports Web Site by the Thursday evening before the tournament.

<>  MEDICAL RELEASE forms are important if a player under the age of 18, is injured and requires medical treatment and a parent or guardian will not be present to authorize treatment by a physician.  You will not be required to present medical release forms at any time during the tournament, but they are highly recommended.  If any of the players on your team will not have a parent in attendance, the coach should have a properly signed and notarized medical release form.    If you want to have medical release forms you can find the form on the web at http://www.challengesports.com/FORMS/medicalForm.doc

<> BALL - Each Team is required to bring a game BALL.  The home team’s ball will be used as the game ball.  U6-U8 use size 3, U9-U12 use size 4 while U13 and older use size 5

<>  QUALIFYING  for NATIONALS   – Each team that finishes in the top 4 of its Division will qualify to enter the 3v3 Challenge National Championship July 28-30, at  Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex Florida.

age division of a team in the tournament, will be the age of the oldest player on the team's Roster.

Entries

SCHEDULES are posted here no later than 10PM on the Thursday before the tournament..

We will begin posting teams in Groups and Divisions on Monday June 11 and we will fine tune and adjust the Groups and Divisions through Wednesday June 11.  We welcome input from teams, but it must be provided by 6PM Wednesday to be considered

Teams in Divisions with combined ages or skill levels who do not feel that the Division is acceptable for their team have the option to withdraw for credit or a full refund if they notify us by 6PM Wednesday June 13

When a division with combined age groups or skill level has at least 2 of each age/rec-comp category, there will be separate championships for each category.

In mixed Divisions, teams will be ranked for qualifying for Nationals against only teams of the same age, gender, and skill level, and will qualify in their own age group.  ( for example - If a u11 team plays in a mixed U11/12 division, the u11 teams will be ranked separately for qualifying and the top 4 will qualify to enter the U11 division in Nationals )  

At least the top 4 teams in each Division will qualify for Nationals.   In divisions with a large number of entries, the committee will review results and will qualify  additional teams
