3v3 Super Soccer Challenge at Miramar

Miramar Regional Park FL, May 12/13, 2007

As a result of the new agreement between Challenge Sports and Kickit, teams can qualify for the Kickit World Championships in January 2008 by finishing in the top 5 in their Division at the Challenge 3v3 Nationals in July.  This announcement makes every Challenge 3v3 qualifier in Florida a qualifier in the path to both Championships

The Tournament was a huge success.  Congratulations and Thanks  to players, coaches, spectators, West Pines United Volunteers, referees, and staff for helping make it a great weekend of soccer.

Entries  are posted below, and will be shown in preliminary Groups and Divisions on the Monday and Tuesday before the tournament.  Entered teams are encouraged to watch the entries  below and Groups/Divisions and provide comments for our scheduler.

Teams in Divisions with combined ages or skill levels who do not feel that the Division is acceptable for their team have the option to withdraw for credit or a full refund if they notify us by 8PM Wednesday May 9

When a division with combined age groups or skill level has at least 2 of each age/rec-comp category, there will be separate championships for each category

Qualify for Nationals July 27-29 2007!  at  Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex FL

Welcome to the McDonald's South Florida  3v3 Super Challenge, in Miramar Florida!

We are looking forward to a great tournament.  We want to make sure every team that has entered knows exactly what they need to do to be ready to have a great experience.  Here are some important points for you to be aware of : 

<> CHECK-IN is Friday night  May 11, 4pm to 8pm at Nova Southeastern University 3301 College Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale-Davie, Florida 33314,  - come meet the Nova SE College Soccer team ! where you will present the necessary credentials and receive t-shirts for each player on the team. 

  The following forms must be brought to check-in.

1)  WAIVER FORM  - If you applied online, you MUST bring a WAIVER with player/parent signatures.  You have a choice of     WAIVER FORM   or   printable application    which has the waiver on it.

2)  PROOF OF AGE - Make sure to bring PROOF OF AGE for each player to team check-in. (such as player passes,  copy of birth certificate, drivers license, etc.)

3) APPLICATION -  If you  need  to change your roster from the one that was submitted on your application  OR   If your original application was not filled out entirely (with all players addresses and birthdates) you must bring a final application to check-in.     You can find a printable version at  printable application    

4) HOTEL FORM -  if you are staying at a hotel, please fill out and turn in.

 <>  SCHEDULES Boys will play games on Saturday and girls on Sunday.  Schedules (at least the first game for each team) - will be posted on the Challenge Sports Web Site by Thursday evening, before the tournament

 <>  PARKING  The new Miramar Regional Park charges $1 per day per person for parking.

<>  MEDICAL RELEASE forms are important if a player under the age of 18, is injured and requires medical treatment and a parent or guardian will not be present to authorize treatment by a physician.  You will not be required to present medical release forms at any time during the tournament, but they are highly recommended.  If any of the players on your team will not have a parent in attendance, the coach should have a properly signed and notarized medical release form.    If you want to have medical release forms you can find the form on the web at http://www.challengesports.com/FORMS/medicalForm.doc

<> BALL - Each Team is required to bring a game BALL.  The home team’s ball will be used as the game ball.  U6-U8 use size 3, U9-U12 use size 4 while U13 and older use size 5

<>  QUALIFYING  for the  3v3 Challenge National Championship – Each team that finishes in the top 4 of its Division will qualify to enter the Nationals which is scheduled for July 27-29, 2007 at  Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex Florida.

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Entries  Applications received with entry fee by midnight Monday May 7 will be automatically accepted.  Applications received after that  will be addressed on a case by case basis and may be returned.

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams must enter as COMP or REC based on the definition in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site
