Based on the feedback from teams the tournament was rescheduled  for the June 23/24 weekend. 

Congratulations to everyone involved for helping make the 2nd effort at the 2007 Jacksonville 3v3 Super Challenge a huge success.

Applications received by 10PM Tuesday night June 19th will be accepted.   Applications received after that may not be accepted

 

Parking - This year, in addition to free parking in the paved lot, the Ponte Vedra Soccer Club has set up  a VIP parking area close to the fields.  Participants will have the choice of the free parking or the Reserved VIP parking at $5 per day per Car

 

First games start at 8:45 Last Games will start before 5:00 on Saturday and before 4:00 on Sunday.  

 

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams must enter as COMP or REC based on the definition in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site

 

Qualifying for Nationals at Disney -  The top 4 teams in each Age-Comp/Rec category will qualify for Nationals.

Teams are only ranked for qualifying against teams of the same age and comp/rec level.  

Where 1, 2, or 3 teams are placed with older teams, they will be ranked 1,2,3 in their own age for purposes of qualifying

 

Photos -  In addition to the regular action photos posted on our web site after the tournament, we will have Glossy Finish setting up  their state-of-the-art Mobile Photo Lab available to so you can view, purchase and receive your photos in as little as 5 minutes.

 Their photo products range from standard prints, magazine covers, calendars to custom collages with the player’s name, number and team colors.  All their high-quality action photos are printed onsite at the tournament so you can have them right away!

 If you would like to arrange a custom photo taken of your team or player by one of their professional sports photographers, please contact Glossy Finish at 800.630.1022.  You can also visit them onsite at the tournament in the Glossy Finish Mobile Photo Lab, which will be parked near the main concession stand, and speak to any of their customer service representatives.

Entries   Are posted .  They will be shown in preliminary Groups and Divisions on the Monday and Tuesday before the tournament.  Entered teams are encouraged to check the entries  and Groups/Divisions below often and provide comments for our scheduler.

 SCHEDULES Will be posted here by 10PM on the Thursday before the tournament..

Teams in Divisions with combined ages or skill levels who do not feel that the Division is acceptable for their team have the option to withdraw for credit or a full refund if they notify us by 8PM Wednesday May 30

When a division with combined age groups or skill level has at least 2 of each age/rec-comp category, there will be separate championships for each category

Welcome to the Jacksonville 3v3 Super Challenge!

 We are looking forward to a great tournament.  We want to make sure every team that has entered knows exactly what they need to do to be ready to have a great experience at the 3v3 Super Challenge.  Here are some important points for you to be aware of : 

 

<> CHECK-IN is either

Saturday morning - arrive at least 1 hour before your first game

OR

Friday night June 22 (6:30 pm to 8:30pm)  at Bogey's Grille,  150 Valley Circle, Ponte Vedra.  The following forms must be brought to check-in.

 

1) WAIVER FORM - If you applied online, you MUST bring a WAIVER with player/parent signatures.  You have a choice of  WAIVER FORM  or a  printable application    which has the waiver on it

 

2)  PROOF OF AGE

Make sure to bring PROOF OF AGE for each player to team check-in. (such as player passes,  copy of birth certificate, drivers license, etc.)

 

3APPLICATION -  If you  need  to change your roster from the one that was submitted on your application  OR     If your original application was not filled out entirely (with all players addresses, birthdates, etc) you must bring a final application to check-in.  You can find a printable version at printable application    

 

4) HOTEL FORM -  if you are staying at a hotel, please fill out and turn in.

 

 <>  SCHEDULES Will be posted on the Challenge Sports Web Site by 10PM on the Thursday before the tournament..

 

<>  MEDICAL RELEASE forms are important if a player under the age of 18, is injured and requires medical treatment and a parent or guardian will not be present to authorize treatment by a physician.  You will not be required to present medical release forms at any time during the tournament, but they are highly recommended.  If any of the players on your team will not have a parent in attendance, the coach should have a properly signed and notarized medical release form.    If you want to have medical release forms you can find the form on the web at http://www.challengesports.com/FORMS/medicalForm.doc

 

<> BALL - Each Team is required to bring a game BALL The home team’s ball will be used as the game ball.  U6-U8 use size 3, U9-U12 use size 4 while U13 and older use size 5

 

<>  QUALIFYING  for the  3v3 Challenge National Championship – Each team that finishes in the top 4 of its Division will qualify to enter the Nationals which is scheduled for July 27-29, 2007 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex  Florida USA.

The age division of a team in the tournament, will be the age of the oldest player on the team's Roster.

 U6 -  (8/1/2000 thru 7/31/2001)

 U13 - (8/1/1993 thru 7/31/1994)

 U7 -  (8/1/1999 thru 7/31/2000)

U14-  (8/1/1992 thru 7/31/1993)

 U8 -  (8/1/1998 thru 7/31/1999)

U15 - (8/1/1991 thru 7/31/1992)

 U9 -  (8/1/1997 thru 7/31/1998)

U16 - (8/1/1990 thru 7/31/1991)

 U10 -  (8/1/1996 thru 7/31/1997)

U17 - (8/1/1989 thru 7/31/1990)

 U11 -  (8/1/1995 thru 7/31/1996)

U18 - (8/1/1988 thru 7/31/1989)

Coaches - Please check to make sure your team is listed correctly below.  If your team was entered in the original June 2/3 tournament and has had to transfer to a different event, your team should not be listed.    If your team is listed correctly below, or if it is not listed and you will be not be playing on the 23rd and 24th there is nothing for you to do.

Applications with entry fee payment  that arrive at  Challenge Sports by Midnight Sunday June 17 will be automatically accepted.    Applications and/or payments received after midnight June 17 will go on a waiting list unless they are for a position that is listed as OPEN in the entries list below.  Teams that are not accepted will receive full refunds.

Entries     Entered teams are encouraged to check the entries below often.  They will be posted in Groups/Divisions starting Sunday June 17.  Teams are encouraged to provide comments for our scheduler regarding groups and Divisions.   The earlier input is received, the better chance that it can be incorporated in the final schedule.   Input received after Tuesday June 19 will not be considered

 SCHEDULES Will be posted here no later than 10PM on the Thursday before the tournament..   Depending on the number of teams in the Division,  most teams will play 2, 3, or possibly 4 games on Saturday and  2, 3, or possibly 4 on Sunday if they advance to Bracket play
