3rd Annual Naples 3v3 Challenge

#Check-in   Saturday morning at the Field at least 1 hour before your first game

Schedules will be posted Thursday March 20 before 10PM

Applications received with entry fee payment by midnight Thursday March 13 will be eligible for the $25 early entry discount and will pay the full $180 entry fee.  Applications will be accepted until midnight Sunday March 16. The application process is not complete until payment is made.

Entries will be posted Saturday March15.  They will be shown in preliminary Groups and Divisions on the Monday and Tuesday before the tournament.  Entered teams are encouraged to check the entries  and Groups/Divisions below often and provide comments for our scheduler.  Only comments received by 10PM Tuesday will be early enough to be considered

 Teams in Divisions with combined ages or skill levels who do not feel that the Division is acceptable for their team have the option to withdraw for credit or a full refund if they notify us by 6 PM Wednesday March 19

When a division with combined age groups or skill level has at least 2 of each age/rec-comp category, there will be separate championships for each category

Email Communication

Email is the primary method of communication with teams.   When the email address you give us is not correct, it makes communication difficult.   Please make sure we have your correct email address.  We will be posting below is a list of email addresses that  bounce when we send emails to teams.  If your email address is listed here, please send us a corrected address. 

When schedules are posted (Thursday March 20 before 10PM) they will be final.  We can not entertain any requests for changes at that time. 

However, it is always possible that circumstances may cause  games to be moved between then and the end of the weekend.

Teams are responsible for checking the schedules;

1)  as posted here until Friday night

2) at team Check-in

3) at the Tournament Headquarters after each game during  the weekend

Teams should report to their field 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time for each game

    SCHEDULES ARE POSTED BELOW

WEATHER POLICY - In the event of unsafe weather conditions (lightning or extreme winds) we will suspend play until it becomes safe to resume play.  North Collier Regional Park has a lightning detector which will determine if we have to suspend play and when we can resume.   Teams are urged to seek shelter in their cars if the lightning alarm goes off and listen for the all clear.   The great thing about Florida Weather is that sever weather usually only lasts for a short period of time

In this tournament a player may play on two teams as long as those teams are not in the same division.   If a Division combines more than 1 age group, this rule applies for all teams in the Division.   Note that schedule adjustments will not be made for a player who is on more than 1 team.

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams must enter as COMP or REC based on the definition in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site.  Any team that plays in the Rec Division with 1 or more Comp players on the roster will forfeit all games played and will not be eligible for a refund.  Let us know by email immediately if your team should be changed to Comp.  

Keep in mind that the definitions for Rec and Comp as posted on our web site are the only applicable definition.   The label a team is assigned for club or league play is just that, a label.   The correct determination of Comp v Rec is only based on the definition on our web site.

U7 Girls  There will be a separate U7 Girls Final after pool play

U8 Girls  The U8 Girls team is grouped with the U8 boys.  The girls qualify for Nationals as the only entered U8 Girls team
