Entries have reached a record level.  With more than 260 teams, this is the largest Challenge 3v3 qualifier ever!!

Each of the first 3 qualifiers for the 2008 Challenge 3v3 National Championships has been bigger than ever before!!

All Games on Saturday at the Northwest Recreation Complex Soccer Fields, Apopka, Florida hosted by the Inter-United Soccer Club of Orlando

ages U6 thru U19 and Adult 

 

entry fee $180 ($155 early entry fee if paid before Dec 7)

up to 6 players on  roster. 

minimum 4 games per team

All Players will receive official tournament T-shirt at check-in Saturday morning.

Awards for first 3 teams in each age division

All U10 and younger get awards

Applications received with entry fee payment by midnight Friday December 7 will be eligible for the $25 early entry discount

Absolute  deadline for entries - Applications received by 6PM Sunday  December 9 will be accepted.   Applications received after that will not be accepted.

 

 

Schedules will be Posted Thursday Dec 13 Before 8PM

 

Check-in   Saturday morning at the field at least 1 hour before your first game

First games start at 8:45 Last Games will start about 6 PM on Saturday  

 

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams must enter as COMP or REC based on the definition in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site

 

Qualifying for Nationals at Disney -  The top 4 teams in each Age-Comp/Rec category will qualify for Nationals.

Teams are only ranked for qualifying against teams of the same age and comp/rec level.  

Where 1, 2, or 3 teams are placed with older teams, they will be ranked 1,2,3 in their own age for purposes of qualifying

 

Entries   Are posted below.  They will be shown in preliminary Groups and Divisions on the Monday and Tuesday before the tournament.  Entered teams are encouraged to check the entries  and Groups/Divisions below often and provide comments for our scheduler.  Only comments received by 10PM Tuesday will be early enough to be considered

 Teams in Divisions with combined ages or skill levels who do not feel that the Division is acceptable for their team have the option to withdraw for credit or a full refund if they notify us by 6 PM Wednesday December 12

When a division with combined age groups or skill level has at least 2 of each age/rec-comp category, there will be separate championships for each category

Email Communication

Email is the primary method of communication with teams.   When the email address you give us is not correct, it makes communication difficult.   Please make sure we have your correct email address.  We will be posting below is a list of email addresses that  bounce when we send emails to teams.  If your email address is listed here, please send us a corrected address.    pormsby@earthlink.net

Schedules were updated as follows

Friday 6PM  U12 Girls Comp Consolation games corrected

Friday 8AM  High School/Adult Comp brackets and U12 Girls Comp adjusted

Thursday 10PM  U12 Boys Comp Brackets fixed,  High School/Adult Comp Division returned to 12 teams

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams entering the Rec Division must make sure that they are eligible to play as a Rec Team.  The definitions of Comp and Rec are posted in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site.

Any U9 or older team that enters in the Rec Division with 1 or more players on the team that are classified as Comp according to the definition will forfeit all games and will be disqualified from the tournament

Teams are required to check their listing here to make sure the team is listed correctly

Any team found competing with overage players or any U9 or older team playing Rec with Comp players on their team will forfeit all games and be disqualified form the tournament.  Entry fee will not be refunded.

When Posted, the schedules will be final.  We can not entertain any requests for changes. 

However, it is always possible that circumstances may cause  games to be moved between now and the end of the weekend.

Teams are responsible for checking the schedules;

1)  as posted here until Friday night

2) at team Check-in

3) at the Tournament Headquarters after each game during  the weekend

Teams should report to their field 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time for each game
